The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce honoring the National award winner Sanchari Vijay of ‘Nanu Avanalla Avalu’ and Harivu best regional award film team on Wednesday afternoon. Vijay is the third actor in lead in 81 years of Kannada cinema to get national award.

This is the first honor and it came from the Apex Body was a welcome thought. Sanchari Vijay speaking on his national award recalled that he did not believe in the news. After fifth call saying the same thing he could realize something. When the authentic information came to him he was very much surprised with such a honor coming to him. I told my friends that they are making comedy with such messages. It was true and I got overwhelmed with this honor says Vijay.

The best regional film ‘Harivu’ director Manjunath Mansore, producer Girish Gowda received honor. The national award winning makeup man for ‘Naanu Avanalla Avalu’ Nagaraj was also present to receive honor.

KFCC President Thomas D Souza and team, former KFCC President B Vijayakumar, NM Suresh,Naganna, A Ganesh and others were present.
